Incident Summary:

08/23/2019: Assailants attacked the residence of Sayed Kamal Sadat, a local police commander, in Farsi district, Herat, Afghanistan. At least five people, including Sadat and four other police officers, were killed and another three police officers were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
