Incident Summary:

08/17/2019: Assailants attacked Shirin Tagab district, Faryab, Afghanistan. At least four people, including one police officer and three assailants, were killed and eight other people, including three assailants and five police officers, were injured in the attack. This was one of three similar attacks in Faryab within 24 hours. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
