08/03/2019: An explosive device detonated targeting Shukrullah Shakir, the governor of Zindajan district, in Tarakhel, Herat, Afghanistan. At least two people, including Shakir, were killed and five security guards were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
