07/26/2019: Assailants opened fire on a joint team of police and soldiers who were extracting the bodies of civilians killed in a previous attack in San Jose, Negros Oriental, Philippines. No casualties were reported. This was one of two related attacks in San Jose within 24 hours. The New People's Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the incident.
