Incident Summary:

07/26/2019: Assailants opened fire inside the home of councilor Ramon Jalandoni in Panubigan, Negros Oriental, Philippines. Posadas was killed in the attack. This was one of two attacks on local leaders in Negros Oriental on this date. The New People’s Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the incident, but later denied involvement. Sources also attributed the attack to the Alex Boncayao Brigade (ABB).
