Incident Summary:

07/14/2019: Assailants extorted residents of money and food in Bunawan Brook, Agusan del Sur, Philippines. Assailants then opened fire on government soldiers responding to the extortion. At least two assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
