Incident Summary:

07/12/2019: A suicide bomber detonated targeting the Asasey hotel in Kismayo, Lower Juba, Somalia. Following the blast, assailants attacked the hotel. At least 30 people, including four assailants and two American citizens, were killed and 56 others were wounded in the attack. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.
