Incident Summary:

07/08/2019: Assailants abducted Nalluri Srinivas Rao, a Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader, in Kothur, Telangana, India. Rao, his wife, and his son were injured in the kidnapping. Rao was found dead on July 12, 2019. The Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Rao was targeted for being a police informant.
