Incident Summary:

07/05/2019: Assailants attacked a Department of Environment and Natural Resources checkpoint in Sindon Bayabo, Isabela, Philippines. At least three environment officers were abducted in the incident. One officer was killed and short time later while the fate of the other two hostages is unknown. This was one of three related attacks carried out by the same group of assailants on this day. The New People’s Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the incident.
