06/27/2019: Assailants attacked members of the Catholic community in Bani, Sahel, Burkina Faso. Four people were briefly taken hostage and then killed in the attack. Muslim extremists claimed responsibility for the incident in a note "demanding the withdrawal of all government troops and conversion of all Christians to Islam…"
