Incident Summary:

06/23/2019: An explosive device detonated prematurely while being planted at the Tomb of Sultan Mahmud Ghaznawi in Rawdza, Ghazni, Afghanistan. One assailant was killed and another assailant was injured in the blast. A second explosive device was discovered and safely defused at the scene. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
