06/10/2019: Assailants attacked an Afghan Border Police outpost in Khvajeh Jir, Herat, Afghanistan. This was one of two related attacks in Herat on this date. At least seven border officers were killed and ten other officers were injured across both attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
