06/08/2019: Assailants attacked a security checkpost in Band-e Zeyarat, Pato district, Daykundi province, Afghanistan. At least six security personnel were killed and another was injured in the attack. This was one of two related attacks in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
