Incident Summary:

06/08/2019: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near Syrian Armed Forces (SAF) positions in Hamah, Syria. Following the blast, additional assailants then fired rockets at the soldiers. At least 37 soldiers and 28 assailants were killed and there were an unknown number of injuries in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim extremists.
