Incident Summary:

06/05/2019: An explosive device detonated on a road targeting firefighters responding to a fire in Um al-Shabait, Sinjar, Nineveh, Iraq. At least two firefighters were wounded in the blast. This was one of two coordinated attacks; this later bombing targeted first responders at the scene of an earlier arson incident. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
