06/01/2019: Assailants abducted Jitendra Kisan, a former CPI-Maoist supporter, from his home in Khapari Mahua, Gujarat, India. Kisan was killed on June 2, 2019. This was one of two similar abductions in Khapari Mahua on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
