Incident Summary:

05/31/2019: Assailants set fire to two truckloads of tendu leaves and abducted a staffer in Nevsa, Madhya Pradesh, India. The hostage was released a short time later. Maoists claimed responsibility for the attack in a pamphlet left at the scene and stated that the attack was carried out because the tendu leaf company "had conspired against them and tried to implicate them by helping the police."
