05/30/2019: Assailants abducted four people in Ibuan, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. Three hostages were freed on June 3, 2019 while the final victim was beheaded and his body was discovered on June 14, 2019. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
