Incident Summary:

05/18/2019: Assailants opened fire on a checkpoint at an oil field in Zillah, Jufra, Libya. At least two guards were killed and four others were kidnapped during the attack. Three of the hostages were successfully rescued and another escaped on the same day of the abduction. The Fezzan Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.
