Incident Summary:
05/11/2019: Assailants equipped with rockets and automatic weapons opened fire at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Gwadar, Balochistan, Pakistan. At least eight people, including three assailants, four hotel employees, and one soldier, were killed, and six people, including two employees and four soldiers, were injured in the attack and ensuing clash with security forces. In addition, an unknown number of explosive devices were defused at the scene. The Majeed Brigade of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria 1
