05/08/2019: Assailants attacked the residence of Wisam Mahmud Hasan, a Federal Police lieutenant colonel, in Mazari, Balad, Saladin, Iraq. At least three people were killed and four other people were injured in the incident. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Criteria
Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
