Incident Summary:

05/04/2019: Assailants opened fire on a security checkpoint in Boldak Nika, Kandahar, Afghanistan. At least seventeen people, including three police officers and 14 assailants, were killed and 11 others, including four police officers and seven assailants, were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
