Incident Summary:

05/03/2019: Assailants detonated an explosive device at a Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) office in Chandni Chowk, Jharkhand, India. There were no reported casualties in the attack; however, an unknown number of workers were held hostage during the incident and released after the explosive devices detonated. Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility for the incident in pamphlets left at the scene and demanded that citizens boycott the ongoing elections.
