05/02/2019: An explosive device detonated targeting soldiers at a military base in Baga, Borno, Nigeria. Three soldiers were killed and eight others were wounded in the blast. The Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), claimed responsibility for the attack.
