04/10/2019: An explosive device detonated targeting a police vehicle in Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. Three police officers were killed in the blast. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for operations against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Syria.
