04/10/2019: An explosive device detonated near the vehicle of Shaykh Hasan al-Najm al-Hadidi south of Mosul, Ash Shura, Nineveh, Iraq. Al-Hadidi, a Al Hadidi tribe elder, was killed and at least one of his relatives was injured in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
