Incident Summary:

04/09/2019: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated near a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) post along Al-Nour Street in Raqqah, Syria. At least eight people were killed and three other people were injured in the blast; the victims included SDF members and civilians. This was one of two coordinated attacks in Raqqa; this later explosion targeted first responders at the scene of an earlier incident. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
