04/09/2019: An explosive device detonated near a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) checkpost along Al-Nour Street in Raqqah, Syria. There were no reported casualties in the blast. This was one of two coordinated attacks in Raqqa; this first explosion was designed to draw a crowd. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
