Incident Summary:
04/08/2019: Assailants attacked a checkpoint in Turkmen Qodus, Jawzjan , Afghanistan. This was one of four related incidents that occurred in Turkmen Qodus on this day. One pro-government militia member and five assailants were killed while three militia members and three assailants were injured across the attacks. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
