Incident Summary:

04/08/2019: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle targeting a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) convoy near Bagram Airbase in Bariyk Ab, Parwan, Afghanistan. In addition to the assailant, three United States soldiers were killed and eight people, including three United States soldiers, an Afghan contractor, and four Afghan civilians, were injured in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
