04/03/2019: An explosive device detonated targeting a restaurant in Kalawag, Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. At least one person was killed and 17 people were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM). Sources also suspected that the attack was carried out in retaliation for the recent killing of BIFM members.
