Incident Summary:

04/01/2019: Assailants abducted Kashyap Boruah, an Upidta Energy Oil Company employee, from Innao, Arunachal Pradesh, India. Boruah was released on April 29, 2019, following the payment of a ransom. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, two members of the Arunachal Pradesh Deprived People's Front (APDPF) were arrested in connection with the attack.
