Incident Summary:
03/30/2019: A suicide bomber attempted to detonate an explosives-laden vehicle targeting a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy at the Jawahar Tunnel near Banihal, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The explosives partially detonated, injuring the assailant; no other casualties were reported. Owais Amin, a member of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), was arrested and claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources also attributed the attack to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).
