03/27/2019: Assailants detonated an explosive device targeting the house of Anuj Kumar Singh, a former Municipal Legislative Council member and BJP leader in Bodhi Bigha, Bihar, India. There were an unknown number of injuries in the blast. The Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility for the incident and threw pamphlets that called on civilians to boycott the upcoming election.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
