03/23/2019: Assailants attacked an unknown number of security outposts in Majid Chawk, Sangin district, Helmand, Afghanistan. This was one of two related attacks in the district on this date. At least 65 people were killed and 38 people were injured across both attacks. The victims included soldiers, police officers, intelligence officers, and civilians. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incidents.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
