03/10/2019: Assailants attacked military posts in Morghab district, Badghis, Afghanistan. At least 20 soldiers and 42 assailants were killed and 10 soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash, which lasted until March 12, 2019. Additionally, 28 soldiers were abducted in the attack; the hostages were released on March 19, 2019. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
