03/07/2019: Assailants fired mortars at a ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the death of a Shia Hazara leader in Dasht-e-Barchi, Kabul, Afghanistan. At least 11 civilians were killed and 95 people, including eight bodyguards, were injured in the attack. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources also attributed the attack to the Taliban, which the group denied.
