03/04/2019: Assailants abducted 57 sugarcane plantation workers near Man Kaung bridge in Kutkai, Shan, Myanmar. All of the hostages had either been released or had escaped as of March 12, 2019. The Kachin Independence Army (KIA) claimed responsibility for the incident.
