Incident Summary:

02/25/2019: Assailants attacked the Santa Clara International Corporation hydropower plant and set fire to 12 pieces of equipment in Malvar, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. There were no reported casualties in the incident. The New People's Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the Sta. Clara International Corporation hydropower plant was targeted because "the NPA does not allow plunder and environmental destruction in the island of Mindoro."
