Incident Summary:

02/00/2019: Sometime between February 17, 2019 and February 23, 2019, assailants abducted Boukary Guindo in Diankabou, Mopti, Mali. Guindo was killed and left in the bushes where his body was discovered on February 26, 2019. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim extremists. Guindo's body was filled with an explosive device that was detonated during his funeral.
