Incident Summary:

01/31/2019: Assailants abducted Ishrat Muneer Bhat, a civilian, in Zainapora, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Bhat was shot and killed shortly after the kidnapping. Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Bhat was targeted because the group suspected that she had given information to the security forces that led to the killing of her cousin and HM member, Zeenat-ul-Islam.
