01/29/2019: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated after it was stopped by police officers at a checkpoint near the Ministry of Petroleum and mining headquarters in Xamar Weyne, Mogadishu, Somalia. At least two people were killed and five were injured in the blast. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.
