Incident Summary:

01/27/2019: Assailants attacked a military base in Lomani, Borno, Nigeria. At least six soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. This was one of two incidents targeting bases in Borno on the same day. The Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), claimed responsibility for the attack.
