01/23/2019: Assailants abducted three United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) observers in Kisalala, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The hostages were rescued the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Union of Congolese Patriots (UPC).
