Incident Summary:

01/20/2019: Assailants opened fire on a Chinese construction site in Shimbirey, Garissa, Kenya. At least four people were injured in the ensuing clash. The assailants also sustained an unknown number of injuries. This was one of two coordinated attacks on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to Al-Shabaab.
