Incident Summary:

01/07/2019: Assailants abducted Jose Antonio Bermúdez and his wife Amparo Montañez Valencia in Mapoy, Arauca, Colombia. Valencia was released a few hours later and Bermúdez was released on January 9, 2019. The 110th Front of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) dissidents claimed responsibility for the incident.
