12/23/2018: An assailant attacked an overhead power cable on a railway track between Karlshorst and Wuhlheide railway stations in eastern Berlin, Germany. There were no reported casualties in the incident. A Jihadi-inspired extremist claimed responsibility for the attack and an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) flag was discovered at the scene. Sources also suspected that the assailant supported ISIL.
