12/16/2018: Assailants equipped with firearms attempted to attack Maibukarti, between Maiduguri and Damboa, Borno, Nigeria. At least four assailants and one soldier were killed in the ensuing clash with security forces. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
