Incident Summary:

11/19/2018: An explosive device detonated near 57th Infantry Battalion soldiers along a highway in Labu-Labu, Maguindanao, Philippines. At least one soldier was injured in the blast. This was one of two similar bombings in Labu-Labu on this day; this later explosion targeted first responders at the scene of an earlier blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack. Additionally, sources suspected that the attacks were carried out by the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
