Incident Summary:
11/12/2018: Assailants fired a rocket that landed on a civilian residence and detonated in Ashkelon, Southern, Israel. At least two people were killed and seven other people were injured in the blast. This was one of six related attacks in southern Israel on this date. Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for a military operation, which killed seven Palestinians.

Criteria 1
